Two different sports and two totally different game engines. You cannot compare apples to oranges

How will Custom Leagues(set-up,etc) differ from the newer version of FHM compared to the first version?
How will player movement(editing, etc) differ from the newer version of FHM compared to the first version? |

We will be adding seasons earlier than 1947 in the next version, but I believe we have that covered. I'll ask Jeff if he needs help, though.

For the first question, I assume you mean fictional leagues? We covered that in this Road to Release:
FHM 2015 The Road to Release: The New Fictional League Creator For the 2nd question, we'll release more information about that in future Road to Release articles. Thanks. |

I see a few places where you all think it is answered in the blog, but it's not
You only see once league structure I think the question is the question I have... What are the actual options of league structure How many teams are allowed in each option? What is the divisional / league structure (2 league, 3 divisions in each, 2 leagues, no divisions, 1 league, 5 divisions, and etc. ) As someone who doesn't have FHM14 I'd like to know what the specific options are for fictional league structure thanks a lot for your time. |

In FHM every second is simulated in a game, knowing exactly who the puck carrier is, in which zone and where everyone on the ice is located.
But the above is not the problem. As I explained earlier, FHM has many more playable leagues then OOTP (and a hell of a lot non-playable leagues as well), in FHM every player has a lot more ratings that need to be taken into account and all that adds up to a slower sim then OOTP. Again, if you play with just 1-2 leagues (e.g. historical) the sim-time is flying. Quote:

It is not official but the plan is to go back to 1927. This is mostly db work so it depends on how much time Jeff has to get it done.

1927? So you guys aren't gonna add the WHL, WCHL, PCHA? I guess that would be difficult to do. I would imagine you would just do the same structure as the NHL/WHA. I was hoping you would go back to 1914. (the start of the modern playoff format between the NHA and PCHA)

[QUOTE"8 teams, 0 conferences, 0 divisions, 78 Games"][/QUOTE]
Looks a little bit strange as 78/7 = against 6 teams 11 games will be played and only against one team you have 12 games. Maybe 84 games ( 7 x 12) would be the better option. A strcture like 8 teams and 2 divisions could be have the following schedule - against teams in division : 16 games - against teams in the other division: 8 games (= 80 games in a regular season) |

A bunch of questions:
Will there be some sort of global player search? Will corsi/fenwick stats be sortable in the stats screen and appear in the career stats tab? Will there be any new statistics tracked? Especially team stats like goals against per game and shots against per 60. Will there be line matching? |

It's not really a global search though because you have to type in text for it to work. There's no where in the game as far as I know that will display (or filter through / sort through) every player in the game. For an example, as far as I know, I can not sort every player in the game to find out who has the highest potential, has the best shot, etc. Nor can I do something like get a quick list of every d-man rated between 6 and 7 who has a shot range of at least 15.

Will there be a more extensive manual published for FHM 15? There are several options within league setup that were not self explanatory but had no explanation (some playoff options come to mind) in the FHM 14 manual.
Thanks! |
