A guy on E-bay (hometeamsportz) currently has several A's & Cubs photos from 1969-71. The A's are by D.B. Williams & the Cubs are by Barney Sterling. Thanks for catching that. I trusted the listing and did not check the number. Cater did wear number 2. That would also mean that photo is from 1969 since that was Cater's last year with the A's. The photo looks like the one taken of Reynolds with similar backgrounds.


So as not to slight Jim Driscoll, I do have this 1971 card-that-never-was made by someone (perhaps a member here).

Thank you! And I'm sure it's just me but if there's ever a made for tv movie on the 'Ken McMullen story" I see Will Ferrell in the role. Maybe not this photo, but perhaps its the eyes, smile or something that reminds me of him....Oh well - thanks again!
