It took 12 inning for the Superbas to beat the Giants 6-5.

Of special note, all five on New York's runs were unearned.

Ken Davis has yet to give up an earned run this spring.

Wish Egan not only got the win, but also had a 2-run single for the winning RBI.

A 5 run 9th made it close but the Phillies were able to get that last out before the Superbas were able to get that last run and beat Brooklyn 9-8.

Preseason Predictions - we win the NL by 2 games over the Pirates and are fairly evenly matched vs the Athletics for the World Series.

Top Players for the AL - Mike Donlin, Highlanders & Orval Overall, Athletics

For the NL - Honus Wagner, Pirates (We have nobody in the top 10) & Eddie Plank, Superbas (with Cy Young in 2nd).

Brooklyn fell behind quickly and an 8th inning rally was cut short when Phil Dunn hit into a Triple Play.
