Division Only Schedule?

New to the game, so I'm sorry for the long-winded thread...

I was trying to create a Fictional Canadian Baseball League with 8 Sub Leagues. I know you can only have 2 now, so I was thinking I can create an Eastern and Western league with 4 Divisions with 6 teams in each.

Is there a way to create a 90 game schedule (3 game series) between teams only in the division? then division winners square off in the playoffs with the 2 Leagues winners facing off for the championship?

I know there is an option to create a schedule in the league settings, but wanted to see if there may be an easier way to get one, or if anyone may have created one similar to the one I described?

So to clarify you want:

48 team league
8 divisions of 6 teams
Each team plays 5 teams in division 18 times (9H/9A)

I could create this as one sub league of 8 divisions or 2 sub leagues of 4 divisions.

Let me know which way you prefer. This schedule shouldn't take too long to create.

I was hoping for 2 sub leagues with 4 divisions, 6 teams each.

Thank you for your help, I spent some time at work looking at the ootp manual to see how this could be done, looks difficult to me lol.

Sash, do you want an All Star Game?

It is difficult until you get some templates, and then it's pretty easy.

For example, your league has 48 teams, but I don't have to schedule for 48 teams, I just schedule for Division 1, teams 1 through 6.

Then I teams 1-6 to teams 7-12

Then I copy 1-12 to 13-24

Then I copy 1-24 to 25-48.

But then again I have the templates all set up and a number of different game rotations for 4,6,8,10, and 12 teams already.
