ST155 is where you'll find...

...the PT 21 Huntley Red Raiders!

Just a quick snapshot before the playoffs begin: despite (or maybe because of) letting the AI arrange the rotation and lineup, Huntley managed to post a 91-71 record that was good enough to win the NC East and earn the #3 seed in the NC playoffs. Pitching upgrades, thanks to the actually-worth-it-this-year Live missions, helped a lot, but mostly, it was because of a lovely pull from a pack: Turkey Mike Donlin. Donlin cannot play center field, really (128 G, .994 PCT, 2.68 RF, -12.6 ZR, .940 EFF), but he can hit. Oh man, can he hit.

It is playoff time!

Red Bandits got the 1 seed and will be facing the Longueuil Pilgrims.

Watermelon Bandits won their Wildcard game and will be facing the Chi Town Schmackers.

Pink Bandits got the 1 seed and will be facing the Chicago Titans or the Blackpool Towers.

I'm very excited to get shinies for my signature once they release this year's version.

My 99-63 Clippers will face the 100-62 Coast City Green Lanters in the first round. Was 3-4 against them in the regular season and they were 60 runs better in run differentials. Probably a 40/60 chance here.

107-55 Broncos get the 87-75 Raspberry Island Isolation. I was 15-4 against them in the regular season. I'd be very disappointed if I get upset. Gotta think 80/20 here.

The 98-64 Chiles have the 106-56 Anfield Road Kopites. They had a +150 run differential than I did. But let's hope they slip like Gerrard in 2014. I would say 20/80

Want to know how clueless I am? I just realized the Chiles and Clippers are in the same league. Heh.

I am not used to seeing Huntley only winning 91 games. Pick it up!

Lowdown Lugnuts lose 3-2 in a close series

Pachuca Pack Rats lose 3-1 to the WC team that had 30+ less wins in the regular season

Paragon City Heroes come back to win 3-2 as Randy Johnson outpitches Seaver and Joe Nathan tries to lose it

The YakAnglers lose game 5 of the R105 division series to the Gotham Dark Knights, 1-0. The sub-league series now faces the Gotham Dark Knights against the Gotham Knights. The non-dark Knights won 132 games and are heavily favored to win the R105 Series.

The Marathoners win their Division series in R138 against the Galactic Guardians, 3 games to 1. In the sub-league series, the Sioux Fall Pheasants, who won 114 games, took game 1 but the Marathoners battled back to take game 2.

The winner likely gets to face the San Angelo Warbirds, who kinda had a decent season, winning 149 games.

Hmm, let's see...all 3 of my Red Raiders--PTs 19, XX, and 21--won in the Division Series. Picked up enough?

So all 6 of my PT 20&21 teams made the playoffs. 3 as the top seed in their conference, one as the second seed, two as wild cards. The PT21 White Tigers swept the division series and took the first 2 games of the sub-league series, then lost 4 in a row. The PT21 Sun Kings won the division series and took the first game of the sub-league series, then lost 4 in a row. The PT20 White Tigers lost the division series 3-1, the PT20 Golden Lions won the first two games of the division series then lost 3 in a row, and the PT20 Black Panthers lost the wild card. The only team I have who still has a chance to even make it to the finals now is the PT21 Black Knights, who won the wild card, won 3 in a row to win the division series 3-1, and are currently up 3-2 in the sub-league series.

So yeah I'm basically pretty cursed. White Tigers still have never won a championship in PT20, neither did the Golden Lions.

As expected, the Chiles and Clippers went out in round one and the Broncos are in the Finals

One of my team is in the World Series in R74. I started 3 teams last week on a second license and waited until Monday for my main teams.

The Floyd Animals are fighting for a title.

Game 1 features my Carlos Carrasco against Corey Kluber.

ST155: Well, Whadda Ya Know?

The Blake Street Bombers went 115-47 in the regular season and are 7-0 so far in the playoffs, and therefore are massive favorites, but who cares? The Huntley Red Raiders are in the Stone Level Series!

The Marathoners season ends in a heart breaker, losing 3-2 in the 10th inning of game 6 of the sub-league series. The series was as close as you can get, with scores of 6-3; 6-2; 3-2; 1-0; 2-0; and 3-2. Just couldn't get the hit when we needed it the most.

Okay, I know why nobody likes me. Three minutes prior to Game 1 in the Rookie Series I pop whatever the Coons have left in packs and grab live Max Scherzer. That's gonna be a surprise to the opponent.

Oh, I have no empathy for that guy. He uses a Yankees logo.

Mets squeezed into the Rookie Series as well, winning their LCS in seven.
