removing off days

in all my years I have never edited a schedule, what do I need to do if all I want to do is remove most off days from generated schedule?

Lucky you
Well to remove off days you'd have to subtract 1 from all day= numbers starting with the first off day to the last day of schedule. Then find the second off day and repeat till done.
However, since most likely not all teams have the same off day, you have to be very careful you don't end up with 1 team playing 2 different teams on the same day.
Example: First off day is day 7. You'd have to subtract 1 from all days after that so that day 8 is day 7, day 9 is day 8, day 10 is day 9, and so on to the end of schedule.
Not an easy task and there are no shortcuts that I know of.

Easiest way to do that is to open the schedule in a spreadsheet and use formulas or vlookup to change the day= numbers. Much faster.

I am either impatient, or have not had enough time to sit down and think it through, I am not much of an excel user to be honest.

all teams have off-days on the same day, can somebody take pity on me and remove most off-days?

I really only want one day-off every 5 or 6 weeks

No problem..I'll do it with off day every 5 weeks..
Try this..I didn't change your spring training days. I started the off days with 5 weeks starting March 30 as day 1 this year and went by this years calendar. This is the first time I've ever done this, so let me know specifically if any problems.
