Using Player Shortlist to cut down on news
Thanks to the new mass-select feature, I found a way to use my Player Shortlist to cut down on the number of news items in my mailbox. What I do is this:
You need to delete your Player Shortlist periodically (mass-select, right-click, choose Unshortlist Players) and repeat steps 1-5 above to keep your Player Shortlist current. I do this once per season. Of course, doing this may prevent you from using your Player Shortlist for other reasons. For example, I used to use it to track players that I traded away to see how they did in the future. Fortunately, I now have Manager Notes for that! Thanks for the heads up - that will make it a little easier for sure.

Thanks for the idea. What would be nice would be multiple short lists.

Excellent idea!
I have wanted multiple short lists since I first remember shortlists. I always wanted at least one for guys I was wanting to pick up. And I wanted another shortlist just to track guys I wanted to follow. |

Great thoughts, 'Yank. An improvement still would be to see a future version actually offer up ratings as a genuine News filter. Perhaps other menu ideas would be specific leagues, teams, positions, and so forth. A wonderful seed for further discussion and exploration.
