Astrodome, Crosley & Ebetts

Here are Astrodome 65-00, Crosley Field & Ebetts Fields. The grid is a wee bit off on Ebetts. For some reason, rotate field adjustment doesn't work on this one.

Do you plan to do Memorial Stadium post-1960?

When are you getting these crashes, in game or in the edit mode? What video card are you using?

I looked at mine and it works fine. I then unzipped the file I uploaded and looked at it and it was fine also. Maybe your down load got corrupted.

I have a Nvidia GTX 760 and have failures in the edit mode. When I run the debug it always shows a ncoglv32.dll error which is related to opengl which is used in OOTP. I have been told by one of the OOTP staff that it doesn't happen on his machine which does not have Nvidia card. You can download and install the most recent driver for your card, if you haven't already done that but it probably won't help. I have done that to no avail. apparently there is something OOTP that NVIDA doesn't like or vice verse. I found that the parks the crash in the edit mode work fine in the game but trying to change the views in the edit mode was a problem. My work around was to change the 3D & Facegen tab in settings to Simplified from Detailed then open the stadium that crashed and adjust the view the way you want, save the view then go back and change setting in 3D & facegen back to detailed. That worked for me. That should work for you. It is my fondest hope that OOTP will fix the problem with NVIDIA cards in the next version.

Basically the same as I get. Just a different location. There is something about NVIDIA that OOTP doesn't like. Did you try using the park in an actual game?

Then if you want to change the overhead or wide view in edit, you will have to do it in the simplified mode as I said before.

I don't know how the park crowds look in game but mine were way to white. If you have that problem, let me know and I will send you a file to fix it.

Yes, some of the park crowds are kind of bright. I figured it was the look you wanted.

White crowds

If your 3d Crowds in my updated parks look sort of all white, you need to change a file in the shader folder.

Go to your OOTP 17 folder that has all the game folders in it, e.g. ballparks, saved games, sounds, etc.

The default location of this folder is in your Documents folder.

In there is a folder called shader. Download the ‘point_light_paralax.frag’ file and put it in there. I recommend that before you add it you rename or move the file of the same name that is in there in case you want to go back to it.

I have uploaded the file and these instructions.

Joe Robbie and Busch II

Here are Joe Robbie 93-95 & Busch 95-08. I also uploaded Pro Player and Sunlife which are Joe Robbie with different names. I tried to put them in eras relative to their names as they show up in OOTP. You will note that Busch has some really dark crowds depending on the time of day, similar to Shibe. This has to do with the shading in the model and in the shaders in OOTP. I haven't found a way to reduce that yet.
