Claim Player - no message and no claim?

Sometimes when I claim a player of waivers, the screen just kind of flashes but the claim is not placed.

Other times, it flashes and I see my team's initials there, showing I've claimed the player.

Is there a popup of some sort that's missing to tell me a claim was denied? I get nothing, not even a message in my mail, to tell me what happened.

Is this the way it's supposed to be or a glitch?

Most likely this is a glitch, it shouldn't be like this !!
