The ID's OOTP uses come from BBref so maybe a bug report with them?

But list i get to import comes/scrapes right from bbref.

Therefore, if the list with ID directly from bbref don't import to OOTP19 (who uses bbref id) then how can the bug be with bbref?

Are you saying bbref id list they give OOTP could differ from the ID on their web site?

I notice Josh Hader is nowhere to be found when I create a 2017 historical league. He also debuted in 2017. I suspect that OOTP's DB does not include the players who debuted in 2017. Like Bellinger and Hader. Probably dozens more.

I searched for other players who debuted in 2017. Not a one of them appears in the 2017 league I created.

262 according to BBREF.

I have randomly tried to import 10% of the players from the new debut bbref list and non have been successful.

263 rookies in the MLB database
158 are pitchers

I see them all in the db and when I make a 2017 test league they are all there.

Don't have any idea what the issue is at this time since it works for me but not you.

The issue is can you historically import them?

"Historically Import" is how you make use of real life players season in a fictional league based on historical players.

When I create a 2017 historical league with real lineups & transactions, I see none of the players who debuted in real life in 2017. So, there's a snafu somewhere.

Good luck finding your snafu.

Make sure you are using the latest version is really the best I can say.
