Umm do you have a flintstones computer? I have a 65 season 100 team 4 minor level save and it converted in about 30 minutes.

If I remember correctly, I tried to import in the beta version last year and it took a while. Could be the beta has some slow down issue.

I've always been content with my league history, IE never generating almanacs. Each year when I read the "how long to import" threads I've been happy with that decision, you don't miss what you've never had

But each year I am curious as to what an "almanac guy" would tell me I am missing by not creating one?

I like the Almanac because you can save a full blown image of your league. Basically you can go to any date in past history, look at the box score or any event from a certain that day.

There are tons of options what you can save. The more items you choose, the larger it gets and longer it takes. You can save all transaction logs, news, injury log, trade log, etc etc.

The time never bothers me, I'm retired so I have plenty of that. I fully understand that not everyone does though.

The league history is great, it gives you all the Stats, but it doesn't give me everything I want. So I choose to use the Almanac and live with the nuance of time it takes to convert once every 12 months.

Now if we had the ability to save replays and highlights in the Almanac, that would be awesome. Of course the size and amount of time would be huge with all that, but like everything you save in the Almanac, it could be optional.
