Issues with followers
When I have a follower in the rotation during simulations, the AI tend to utilize the follower as another bullpen arm. I've noticed this in both perfect team and offline play. Is there a way around it other than not setting the pitcher as a follower until prior to his "starting" spot comes up?

We only will use guys from the rotation (whether they have a follower tag set or not) as an extreme last resort case if nobody else in the bullpen is available. I know a patch or two back they were used in some cases otherwise, but that should have been fixed sometime in the last couple patches (I forget which one it was fixed in).

TL,DR in a situation I wouldn't call "extreme last resort," a follower in my rotation was used |

I just realized opponent's pitching line in the boxscore isn't so right. I wasn't able to replicate it, but here's the right version

Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems to me that the best procedure is to put followers into the starting rotation with the "follower" strategy designation and openers in the bullpen with the secondary role of "opener". Then the followers won't be called on to relieve. There's a risk that no opener will be available when a follower's turn in the rotation comes around, but in that case the game will use him as a starter.

There is a very simple fix. Don't use openers/followers.
