You´ve been fired!

Got this message after losing first three games in the Finnish Mestis/Suomi-sarja relegation series with Suomi-sarja team KeuPa HT.

Now I think it´s a bit too harsh that I got shown the door, since although we cruised through the regular season with relative ease, we still should be considered under dogs in the relegation series.

All through the season I got praises from the team owner and now after losses against teams from higher division the bastard decides to give me the boot!

Just thought I should let you know about this issue... Cheers!

Penguins 1967-68 season
Season objective: Playoffs

Got a message that the owner is pleased how the season went so far, then after 1 drubbing on the hands of the Red Wings the confidence bar went down 1/3 into the yellow area....seems like there´s something weird happening

What you need to do is turn on Commissioner Mode and take team back over or a option like in OTTP never get fired.

I have a newer build here with corrected Teamowner objectives so I can't really reproduce it. What is/was your Teamowner expectation for the season?

Sebastian,

I had the same problem as I stated in another thread but my Owner's expectation was to not finish in the bottom quarter. Finished 2nd by 1 point, had a top scorer and goalie....lost 1st game of playoffs and was fired.

Sorry...the Bracknell Bees....it mentioned the expectation was to avoid the bottom quarter. During the season got several votes of confidence as well as a couple of warnings during slight losing periods. ten lost the 1st game of playoffs and was fired

Started a new game in Sweden with Allsvenskan (Timra). Hired as GM and resigned old GM as an assistant. Not in Commissioner mode. Simmed thru to start of Pre-season, signed a new FA goalie and placed in the #1 goalie, 1st line RW Johan Porsberger injured with hamstring injury. Signed FA RW Mika Hannula and placed him in the positions vacated by Porsberger, Simmed thru 3 games and checked Game Stats and Hannula does not show up. I make all changes and leave nothing up to Assistant. In the Lines Setup he has 22 set for IT.

Just to clarify something: when you re-hired the former GM, what job did he get?

Playing as the Pittsburgh Penguins, the expectations going into the 2014-2015 season were to rebuild, and I ended up winning the Stanley Cup. On July 1st 2015, for no reason whatsoever I found myself unemployed. There was no message saying I had been fired, no indication the board of directors was displeased with me.
