2020 schedule for MLB league
I am entering the 2020 season in an MLB league for the first time and I was wondering about the schedule format for that season and if it would mirror the 2019 season with two games about a week before all the other teams begin their season? I seem to remember an older version of OOTP doing something like this.
I have disabled all of the automatic evolution options in my league so it will still be a 162 game schedule. I just want to know before I move forward into schedule generation because if the format isn't like 2019 I don't want the regular season to start around March 20th. |

The full 2020 MLB schedule probably won't be released until September. If it keeps the same format as last year, the season will probably start Thursday, March 27 (it started Thursday, March 28 this year). You can fool around with the start date in the league settings.

You're right. I had forgotten about this year's opener in Japan. Without that, it should start on the last Thursday of March, which should be March 27.

When setting up the "fictional" 2020 season and beyoung I would like to skip the ASG, but still have the time off as a mid-season break. OOTP 19 did not do this.
