Opener/Follower & Imported League
I imported a league from 19 (currently in Sept) and I don't have the option to set an opener and follower. I noticed that after the import my manager required full access to the roster. I hired a manager that would give me control, simmed a day and still no option to set an opener or follower. Is this feature only available to a league started in 20?

You need to enable openers for the league. It's in the league settings, on the bottom left of the page. If it's set to 0, then you can't set openers or followers.

The Manual only mentions opener/follower in regard to player strategy, but has no guidance on how to enable this feature. Last edited by Chomps; 03-26-2019 at 09:18 AM. |

So I found the setting and changed it. I can now set a SP as a follower and reliever as opener. But it doesn't seem to be working. I have 3 SP's set to followers and 3 openers. All 3 openers are fully rested but every time I go to a game it starts the SP.
It seems to work in a league I started in OOTP 20 but 2 leagues I have brought from 19 it doesn't seem to be working. I even set it to higher than 2 and no change. Am I missing something?

I'd suggest you double-check your team strategy as well. If that got set to to 0(all the way to the left), then it's possible that even having set openers/followers, we will skip them.

If that doesn't work I guess I'll file a bug report. Thank you very much for your help.
