How often are rosters updated?

Sorry if it's been asked before. Wondering how often are the rosters are updated in OOTP 20 which include trades, new changes to a players "profile information" for hitting/pitching averages. Roster changes reflecting not only trades but slumps, hitting streaks, etc. shown on their profile that affects their performance.

With the Live update feature, they'll more or less be updated daily, at least as far as transactions go.

Ratings updates are more sporadic. We try not to overreact to small sample sizes, so it can take a while before we make major ratings changes. Typically toward the middle to end of the year.

Other things like draft prospects, ratings for minor leaguers, tweaks to things like pitch repertoires etc, you'll see some updates to this in every patch.

No, we're not that fast

We'll try to have something out Friday, though it will be more transaction focused and some of the lineups/rotations 25-man rosters might not be fully polished. We can never get those 100% accurate though anyway, as the ai has a mind of its own.

Then whenever we release the next patch, we'll have made some ratings tweaks and adjustments to get things looking even more accurate.

Nah, it's more about getting more regular AB for Teoscar, McKinney, and Alford. Rowdy will make it up eventually this year, but sounds like he's still a bit further down the depth charts.

They should be. Might miss one or two, but the vast majority should be in.

There's a button on the league settings "Functions" page, upper left of the screen, only available in MLB leagues, and only updates player ratings.

That updates the player ratings as the real MLB season moves forward, but how do i update the rosters, contracts, etc... as the mlb season moves forward??

There's no automatic way to handle that right now. You can start a new game at any point in the season with the updated data, but once a game has started the only live update feature we have right now is to update ratings.
