Historical Exhibition Game
I have tried to play a historical exhibition game and I always get the default ballpark. I have tried to figure out how to change the ballpark to the correct one but with no success. I can change the ballpark in a historical season but in a historical exhibition game I can't. Can anyone help me to figure this out? Thank You

Before you play the game in Historical Exhibition mode, you'll see a pre-game options screen with starting lineups and other options. One of the options is "Ballpark". You can choose the ballpark for the home team, visiting team, or the default park. Once you start the game, though, the option is grayed out. So, you have to make your choice prior to starting the game.

Here's my problem the screen you show I never get. I choose a World Series game then it tells me to create an exhibition. After that is successful I only get 3 choices edit roster...select teams&rules...play ball. Nothing like your screen...What am I doing wrong? I appreciate all your help. I have build 38 of the game.

Click on Play Ball. On the next screen, you’ll see your schedule, among other things. You can Play or Simulate the first game. Choose to play it and you’ll be taken to the pregame options screen.

For example 1966 World Series..Orioles vs Dodgers...Ball Park option...Dodger Stadium or Memorial Stadium....no matter what I choose I always get the default ballpark when the game actually begins....

That shouldn’t happen, obviously.

Question: Do you have all the historical ballparks installed?

Yes I have them all...it looks like there is no way to manual change the ball park.

The only time I got the correct ball parks is when I played the 2017 World Series...maybe I don't have the ballparks in the right folder...3D historical ball parks are in the models folder...

I just tried the 1966 World Series and the proper ballpark loads just fine.
What else do you have in your ballparks folder (besides the models folder)? |

I don’t know how the game searches for a park or where. Is each park folder “nested” inside another identical folder? If so, you may need to move the inside folder out of the outer folder. The game, I’m just guessing, may be searching for the .pod or .obj file only one folder deep (if that makes sense). Just a guess, though.

How is your ball park folder setup? Are you running your ballparks through your documents folder or where your game is on your C or D drive?

There is no data folder. Everything(including the ballparks folder) should be in the OOTP 19 folder under My Documents.
