Patch Update = Loss of License!?!?

I downloaded and updated OOTP 20 with the newest patch... When I tried to start the game, everything was grayed out except for the "Purchase OOTP 20" and the "Enter License Key" buttons... When I opened the "Enter License Key" button, my purchased serial number was there so I clicked the "OK" button and a message popped up stating that the "license was not found in the server..."

Did this happen to anyone else???

I sure hope that I don't need to purchase another license and I especially hope that I didn't lose any of my saves!!! In fact, I will not purchase a new license if that is the case...

Have you messaged support? I'm sure they will take care of it.

Did you buy the eSellerate version or Fastspring?

Did you download the eSellerate update or the Fastspring update?

I'm guessing you downloaded the wrong one, which is why it doesn't recognize your license key.

Try redownloading the version for whichever store you used.

It sounds like you downloaded the wrong version of the patch. You probably bought the game through eSellerate and need the download for that version. Either way, you need the other version from whichever one you downloaded.

Sorry about that, switching licensing providers has made things pretty confusing, with so many different version of the game now.
