[The Game]

3 games vs Rockies.


Since i used to play for and was the GM for the Rockies its always special to play them. They are my most hated team. While things these days are better between myself & Owner Cliff Mewett i always want to beat these guys more than any other team. Doing that will not be easy. they have a great offense even away from Courage Park. Quinn ransom missed most of the season and while he may not be 100% back he is still one of the top 3 3b in the game along with Juan San Antonio & Wil D'Zinnik. Matt Young & Nate Dogg have done great for the Rockies in their 1st season here. Their C Monte Pusterla competes for a batting title almost every season. Their pitching is very good this year.

Corvettes lead Supermen by 1 game for the NL Wildcard with the T-birds 2.5 back.

Blue Jays are pulling away from the Orioles in the AL East.
Buckeyes lead the Pirates by 4 games.


Reds have a 4 game lead over the Cubs.
Rockies have a 2 game lead over the D'Backs & a 3 game lead over the Beavers in the NL West.


Orioles have a 4 game lead over the Rays for the 2nd AL WC.

Slammers lead Cardinals by 1.5 games for the LA Wildcard.


Hitmen lead the Cornbelters by 1 game in the DA.

1-3 so far in September. Pippen lost in the LCS so i called up many players.
Frog had his 1st bad week. He was on a 17 game winning streak prior to losing.Self & Reyes did well but the bullpen faltered.


We have a 3 game set @ Delgado then come home for 4 vs Gotham City.


Toby Franklin will replace Flavio Roncalli as the 5th SP.

Most of the call ups will play. C Doug Collier will start vs RHP but will came out in close games as he has bad arm. SS Anna Kournikova will platoon vs RHP with Jose Toro and will start at SS vs LHP.




Duncan, Toro, Cottoneye,Holden & Thomas all had a good week.


Only expiring contract i have is Lonnie Devon and he will not be resigned. I would hate to lose Hernandez but it would free up some $$.

Player Spotlight


SP Toby Franklin R/R Toby was up briefly earlier in the season and while his AAA stats are not impressive I think he has what it takes to be a solid SP in this league.


RP Jose Fernandez L/R Jose has been up before and while he is good in short spurts, his future is not as a ML P.


RP Bernie Hodge R/R Bernie was up earlier this season and if it wasnt for the crowded pen, might have statyed up all year. He could be a solid MR.


RP Colin Wadden R/R I like Colin and would like to see a solid future for him in the Warriors pen.


C Doug Collier S/R Doug is a good offensive C with a bad arm. His future is at 1b/DH but he can hit for good power so for now he will start vs RHP. He will most likely be traded at some point.

Player Spotlight


3b ruben Alcovas R/R ruben formerly played in the IBL and i picked him up as insurance at AAA before the Silva & Jiang deals. He can also play 1b really well. He's a descent yet unspectacular player.


3b Guillermo Silva R/R I picked Silva up in the San Antonio trade. He can play 4 IF spots but is best at 3b & 2b. Average defensive with some pop.


SS Anna Kournikova S/R Anna is finally up after the fans bugging me all season. she's electric and probably the fastest player in the EBL. she stole 120 bases at AAA and i hope next year she matches that here. She will hit for high average. Defensively she has a ton of range and an excellent arm but has mental errors which lead to routine plays being mishandled.



Cf Matt Bolden R/R I signed Matt earlier this season for AAA insurance. He has several cup of coffees in MLB.I dont know what his future holds here but he can play all 3 OF spots and is a solid defensive CF.


Rf Ronald Guzman L/R Ronald is one of the few draft picks or trades that is up that i did not make. His future lies as a 4th to 5th OF. He has some op and can hit for Ok average. defensively he is average.

We are 6-8 vs the Tigers this season.


Nothing beats going to Delgado and sleeping in my own bed, in my home next to my wife. I am hoping Delgado makes it to the BOE this year. Bird City is their only real challenge but even their pitching staff will struggle to shut down Tigger, Brett, Barry, Bobby, Hal & the rest.

The Batmen are trying to catch Cloud City for the AL Wildcard but they are a good ways back and they have to deal with Atlantis as well. It would be nice to have a record of .500 or better vs them.
