Fatigue
I'm curious for opinions...
Would it be helpful if the game gave us some indication of how quickly field players tire? If your interested in trying to give them enough rest - is it enough to just say replace him if he's tired? OR would it be better to know he basically gets tired every 6 games, or 10 games, etc. I'm not sure if the game could make an internal calculation based on it's player info - but that would be helpful I think, especially when your in the higher levels and trying to tweak every little thing you can. |

I would just like an option in the player strategy to set a % which you consider "tired." Like if I want to bench someone when he's at 90% or less, the game doesnt consider that tired but setting just a certain # of games doesnt work since I dont want to bench my starter after a couple off days.

It's too hard to tell overall. It depends on when your off-days lie, and most importantly, what mix of LH/RH starters you face (if you have players set to start differently).

In PT 1, I watched my players closely as I acquired them until I got a sense when that player at that position started to tire. Whether it is true or not, some players/positions seem to me to tire faster/slower than others. I then adjusted my backups to keep any player from starting with a tired pct. I think 100% rested players perform much better so I will keep doing it this way. If I am right in theory or not is of no consequence because I am right in personal managerial comfort zone.
Edit: it is tricky with the LH-RH variance in games but many times there are days and days with no LH starter. Platoon players that face LH only pitchers obviously only rarely may need a rest day.
