Asahi2 has openings

First off very quickly we are still a v17 league but will upgrade to v19 soon. I wanted to post here due to increased traffic in this forum. You would need v17 to finish off two more seasons before we convert in July.

Come check us out, fill out an application, and join one of the longest standing OOTP leagues in the community.

As we are into the 2044 season with all real players, no fictional is ever in the plans. Please see details below on "players" so you know what you are signing up for. This is a very competitive league with many long time owners. We are celebrating 14 calendar years of simulation baseball!

Players: We use the most updated Spritz database because we've played through the Lahman database through the 2011 draft, and are now going back in time and using a random debut feature. Very interesting to see the mix of modern day players and some very old school guys.

Former owner of the Dodger here. I left this team to take over a team in a very challenging Spot. The Dodgers are ready to compete right now. They won over 90 last year and have a healthy mix of veterans and young starters. There is plenty of talent on this team to either continue with and try to win now, or to start retooling by dealing some of those veterans near the end of their contracts for additional youth. You don't often get to join a league and take over a team that is not a mess, but this is one of those times.

More than happy to help any new owner with a quick rundown on the team's assets when they take over as I'm now in the AL and would like to see them continue doing well

We have 1 immediate opening and 1 potential opening coming up. We are in v17 for right now but will be converting to v19 in July. Great league, great owners!

This league is going to OOTP 19 in about 2 months...Long running since 2004 with many experienced GM's. Excellent group of people and going to a new phase of Asahi with Asahi3. It's a great time to join this league.

believe I was in the league when it started ---- KC A's ... drafted / picked up Ernie Banks and Hank Aaron and won a World Series .....When you go to OOTP 19 I would be interested in looking at current structure and available teams ......
