I just imported the 1986 season and found 2 separate Laschelle Tarvers in the Red Sox system.

Jerry Gleaton and Jerry Don Gleaton have been fixed. I found that one.

Just a couple of minor housekeeping things I noticed after starting a 1954 season:

1. Tom Sturdivant's bat/throw sides are incorrect. He should be set to throw right and bat left.

2. For some reason Roger Maris' name appears in all caps on the roster lists, but appears correctly just about everywhere else.

Jonathan Schoop is coming up as being from the Netherlands Antilles instead of Curaçao. This should fix his "Unknown" birthplace as well .

ETA: Actually, the Netherlands Antilles should no longer be in the database, as it ceased to exist as an entity in 2010. Would have to check to see if all the players from there are Curaçaoan or from one of the other areas.

Found 2 of Randy St. Claire on the '86 Expos.

The 1965 Athletics have a James Sevcik and a John Sevcik; based on sharing the same birthday I'm assuming this is the same guy. There's also Tony LaRussa and Tony La Russa (one on KC, one a FA). And finally the '65 Twins have Robert Vessell and Lanny Vessell; their birthdays fall on the same day (April 25), but different years (1944/46). Still, the fact that they're in the same system and share an uncommon surname makes me think one of them is a dupe.

Rynie Wolters, primary pitcher of the 1871 New York Mutuals, is showing up as being from the US rather than The Netherlands.

Hmmm...just tried to import him and he shows up with an Unknown, USA birthplace. Perhaps it needs to be Schantz, THE Netherlands?

Well mate, as far as the new patch you still got TWO persons named Oil Can Boyd.

I thought you presented the changes and fixes on a regular bases to the "head" honcho, so they will put these fixes into the new patches.
Lets hope they get your fixes into the next patch.

It goes without saying that the twins Randy St.Claire are still in the game starting up in 1987.

Also I was on vacation the last 10 days and missed the end of the patch cycle. It can happen. Man does not live by OOTP alone.

The Major Leaguers Sam Gray and Stan Gray are currently being merged into one right now. Both players have the same ID (graydo02), and it's essentially a case of the stats of Sam Gray being given to Stan (grayst01 normally, but currently not existing in the database), in addition to Stan's own stats from his only year in the majors in 1912, as seen in the screenshot.

Need more information than this for Spritze to fix.

Spritze:

Sam Gray (should be graysa01, but is graydo02 in the game) should have all six stats fields (batting, fielding, pitching, batting2, fielding2, pitching2) from 1924-1933 inclusively.

Stan Gray (graydo02 in game as he should be) should have batting, fielding, batting2, fielding2 stats for 1912 only.

Thanks siobhan for bringing attention to this. Actually if you go to Stan Gray's BB-Ref page and read the IP address, you'll see that his player ID is indeed graydo02.
