Extra Innings Baseball

Extra Innings Baseball has just moved to OOTP 17, after completing our 11th season.

At the moment, we have four vacancies:
Baltimore (86-77) - 5th best minor league system, just missed playoffs
Boston (83-79) - has the greatest hitter in the league's history, Xander Bogaerts
Houston (54-108) - a challenge, but has the #2 draft pick
Milwaukee (98-64) - made it to the LCS

Shoot me an email if you would like one of them.

Full league file (You can log in as guest and have a look around.)

We started with the Major League Baseball teams of 2013, fast simmed to 2018, and then launched as an online league. We've managed to keep the competition pretty open, having had 8 different champs in our 11 seasons.

Quick overview:
* Financials have been adjusted in several ways, although the effect is subtle. The goal is to moderate the gap between financial haves and have-nots, and to slow down salary inflation.
* Nothing too far out in the the adjusted ruleset, but it has been adapted a bit to appeal to OOTP players who like to micromanage lineups, attend to full rosters rather than just the stars, and get deeply involved in minor league player development.
=>Daily sims, each covering just four days during the season
=>Low scouting accuracy and the not-too-granular 2-8 rating system
=>Injuries set to "high/realistic modern day" and high randomization of player development
Lots more details (and explanations why) here: http://www.bemont.net/extrainnings/c...trainnings.htm

This should be a stable, long running league. I commish three leagues, one of them going back more than twelve years, so you don't have to worry about about the league folding just after you get attached to your team.

Houston is taken.

But Baltimore and Milwaukee remain, plus Washington which has also gone vacant.
