Here's a simple work around for now...

First create your logo in the color you want and give it the border color of your choice. (Select simple instead of glossy for now). Then save it. Next reload the logo like you would any logo. Then select a color for color 1 and 2. After that, resize the logo and you'll have a two color border. Alternatively, you could even make color 1 and 2 different colors and have a three color border. Now select glossy, if you want, and save the logo.

Sample...

Thanks for the idea. This is about the best I can create right now... it's pretty good. I wish the pinstripes were a bit more like in the original-style glossy logos (thicker? Not sure, but they were a bit more subtle. Really had to tone these down and now they can hardly be seen)

The border is alright, wish things were a bit thicker. Also I don't know if the shapes of each logo match completely, as the borders on one side appear a bit thinner and I could only do so much scaling.

Update version 1.14
  • Added optional third color to the double bordered logos.
  • Rewrote text functions.
  • Now you can click anywhere on a dropdown button rather than just the arrow.

new screeny

Just select the folder that they are in.

Update version 1.15
  • Fixed Unhandled Exception when using Ariel Black font and entering the letter "M"
  • Now resizes plain logos to 150x150 on save.

NOTE: Original logos to be saved as plain logos need to be at least 150px in width or height or images will be blurry when up-sized.

I must be doing something wrong. When I save the image I have a background layer showing. I use Photoshop to make these images and then import them into Pickoff. These images I do in Photoshop have a background layer that is transparent.

What mode, plain or styled? Also, can you post your transparent logo?

Is there a way I could use the applications with a MAC? I'm having trouble.

Thanks!

I don't know if anyone has had any luck running this on a Mac. I know there are tools that let you run PC software, but I don't know anything about them since I don't own a Mac.

I found no problems with using that image. It saved as a plain and styled logo with a transparent background.

I don't see how you could be doing anything wrong. Save a couple logos with Pickoff and post 'em here so I can see what's happening and include any info that may help figure this out.

Question,

The left logo is double borders. The right is double boarders with 3rd color. I'm trying to figure out how to remove the inside red boarder. It would work if there was a way to set the 3rd color for the single border. Or an option to be able to change the inside border to match the background color.

If this can't happen, oh well. I'll just keep using the single boarder.

Justafan, these utilities are amazing. I cannot thank you enough for the time and effort you put into them.
