B238 Playoffs stuck

My league (B238) has been "simulating" October 20, 2022 for a few hours now. My team (user name StargellStars) is in the finals, but the other league's championship series is stuck on Game 6.

Same thing happening in Silver League .273; on the same date 10/20/2022. Seems like it has been stuck for at least an hour.

If it’s a server crash like the last time this happened to me, you guys really should have a monitoring solution in place to alert you when your servers crash so you can recover quickly. It’s incident/disaster recovery 101 tbh..,

yup. I understand it is very early AM German time but if you are going to run a service like this you need to have it monitored and supported when it is running.

Yeah, it's also the drama! Won't be able to go in and check the box scores, the game-by-game...

I thought I just couldn't reach the servers or something. I restarted the game several times, but neither of my two leagues (one diamond, one bronze) have advanced past game two in the World Series.

Yes, we had server issues unfortunately. They are fixed now and the playoffs are being finished as I type this. Sorry for that! Still some growing pains in PT, but whenever something like this happens, we know the reason and it will not happen again in the future!

So the playoffs finished without us having any chance to do anything. Plus I wanted to edit my ballpark and team name.

Part of the reason this happened is it wasn't monitored by OOTPD. You are running a product for customers and ignoring it while it runs is unacceptable.

Yeah, it’s especially bad when it happens to you in the playoffs. There should be PP compensation for this...kinda like when mobile games give you rubies/diamonds/other game currency when a problem on their end inconveniences the players. It was during the Workd Series after all...

It is monitored and was. The fix for the problem took some time though. This was the result of bad coincidences, and we are sorry. Like I said, PT is a new experience for us, too. And there are some growing pains to be expected.
