Historical Career and Inaugural Draft - All Players

Hey Gang,
I'm new to the OOTP Franchise and seem to be in a bit of a knowledge hole atm.

I'm trying to do a complete fantasy draft of all players from the beginning all the way to 2014, but can't seem to get the settings right.

Seems that no matter what I do I just get a smattering of historical (and current players) and it's a random assortment of players (eg. I'll see Babe Ruth perhaps, but no Hank Aaron or Ty Cobb).

I'm looking to do a draft with everyone. Anyone able to help me out?

Nearly impossible to do. You could make a text file of all the players but that would take you weeks. Not sure if increasing the draft rounds to include everyone ever would do it or not. Maybe Lukasberger, Spritze or Bigrod have a solution.

Fair enough, is their starting age randomized as well, or is there perhaps a way to have them all come in to the league at a given age?

Also, will the players not present in the inaugural draft slowly trickle in through the years in rookie drafts?

Starting age for the inaugural draft will be random. You can delete any players you dont want and they will, eventually come back in through the rookie draft. All rookie/amateur drafts will be from their debut year unless you are using a Spritze DB which tends to be 17.
Depending on the size of your draft it should take about 90-110 years to see all players. In one test league in took me 120 years with a 5 rd draft. In my current RD league in year 3 i have 10 rounds and i have a AAA 30 man limit. Most teams only have 22 players at AAA. i turn Ghost players on, for AAA, after SEP 1st.

For some reason each year I'm only getting 2 or 3 rookies in the draft. At this rate it will be thousands of years before I see all the players come through.

My 4th year of simming, had 1 person in the draft a 49yr old player lol. Where are the rookies?

Post your setup screens. i use a Sprtize DB. When do you have your draft? it should be in November, not June. Do you have anything in your DB path?

Looks like something is messed up. I would send the files to the OOTP support team and have them take a look or create a new league and see if the same problem happens. Perhaps try redoing the database path and see if that helps.
