Home Plate Baseball League has 2 openings

Hello all!

The Home Plate Baseball League (http://hpbl.pointatrad.com), a OOTP 6.5 online league based on modern day teams and players, is looking for two active, mature and competitive people to join a very active and well ran online league. This league has been around since March of 2004 for it's first incarnation. The league folded in August of 2005, but came back to life in October 2005. A lot of the original HPBL members remain, and we also have some new blood.

We're in the middle of the 2006 free agency period. The 4th round of free agency is scheduled for Monday at 6 PM Pacific, so if you sign up in time, you might be able to sign some key free agents for your new team!

The league has many features that most, if not all run of the mill leagues do not have, such as:

BOSI Database
The league plans to use CATO at the end of each season
No salary cap. Instead, we use a revenue sharing, payroll expenses cap (not to be confused with a salary cap) and a luxury tax system that works wonders.
Franchise Player System
Active owner base
Full and small league files for your internet connection taste
All new rules are voted by the league owners.

The openings are:
Seattle Mariners - This team has some young up and coming talent in the starting rotation that is a year or two from becoming a solid force to look out for. But this team is in a very solid division where 1/2 of the teams won a combined 209 games in 2005.
Boston Red Sox - Financially, this team is in a mess. The team lost over 40 million in 2005, is currently over our new payroll expenses cap of $125,000,000, and is expected to lose even more in 2006 if nothing is done to this team

Mariners team has good names but most of them are vastly overrated
