It is like torture seeing that card up there at the AH but not only is it so close to OOTP 20 and basically the end of 19 it is also so over priced. At 500 Dollars (at locking him in) even the will to win will not go there. That is also the lowest price I have seen it for awhile and makes it a very greedy card to try and get. Someone will buy it but to some 500 Dollars is a lot of money. This is a very interesting game with so many different people And styles.

Oh absolutely! I'll still keep tabs on things in 19 once 20 comes out, but I have a feeling not enough people will manage their friends list every Sunday night once the next version comes out to keep our mini-whale league chugging along.

Ok, No Cobb, No Ruth and no Lajoie. Also I am home ALL day to get to watch this new team work out. Should be loads of fun. (Or I will kill myself before the 14 day limit is up where I can bring them back. ) Lol....

Yes, I hope he works for you. I have never seen him do anything for other owners. I never had him myself so good luck.😁

I agree, there are way too many cards that bear little resemblance to their namesake.

Agreed, Ruffing with 121 Stuff is laughable, he topped 150 Ks in a season just once.

I am one of those people that won't be managing a friends list every Sunday night once 20 comes out.

Well, the Colonels are one day into their "rebuild", and I don't like it. It is wrong to call it a rebuild. It was more like a tinker. Whatever it was, it isn't working like I thought it would. I tried something that I thought would hurt my opponent, and instead it is hurting me. I am a dumbass LOL.
So, I am already considering what to do next and it is only Tuesday morning. |

I added a guy to improve my defense and he made an error in his first game. GAH!

I'm not sure how Shoeless Joe Jackson will perform in Perfect but on my Diamond League team (Kenner Gators) last season he hit .320 with 18 HR and 123 RBI's while being platooned against RHP. The league leader in RBI's had 124 as a full time starter.

Yes, I am afraid of the same thing. Also now that we are more experienced in the system of playing cards the prices will only go up. We will never get a Ace Pitcher for under 400,000. Forget about a Pedro. He will go to the guy who owns Amazon. 😁

Think about PT20 for a second... the price for a perfect Pedro type pitcher in the first week? Astounding!

Now that I toned up my fielding a little I thought ok my pitchers now will do better because we were making errors at the most crucial time giving up runs. But now instead they give up hits. It is almost like the game says ok, You have to give up runs some way so now that you are not making errors we will give it up in hits instead. Lol. So in actuality all I have done is make it harder for us to score runs. We used to have so many comebacks because of the errors we would make. But now we don’t make errors but the pitchers give up the hits instead and we do not now have the offense we had to come back and win the game. Lol. 🤷*♀️
