Well darn. Wizards lost the CS to the division rival Holly Springs Salamanders in 6. They had our number all year and only finished 2 games behind us for the division. I'm proud of how my boys fared for our first season in diamond. I was worried about how we'd acquit ourselves in a more competitive league after getting stuck in gold for four years, but we came out on fire and led our league wire-to-wire. Hopefully we can make the jump to Perfect Leagues soon, but another year of seasoning in diamond won't hurt either. I'm pretty happy with where the Wizards are at the moment--we have a feisty lineup and great defense all over the diamond. Gonna keep ripping open packs until I get my white whale of a lefty power slugger.

Need four more wins for promotion, but I'd really like eight more to win the title.

Your team was a hoss all year long and I was hoping to play them in the finals. Oh well. Good luck in the show buddy.

Split the first two with Wheaton Brewers in their ballpark, back to the Subway Rat Warrens for the next 3!

After my Hillsboro Hops got swept out of the Perfect .409 playoffs, it became time to focus on my Gold .318 Baby Sharks Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo.

My initial primary focus team (then known as the California Condors before my frustration generated the most annoying name imaginable), they quickly rose to Gold Level where they suddenly stagnated while the Hops kept rising straight to Perfect. Frustrated, I flipped the roster at the end of the 2022 season and made the playoffs the next 2 years, only to fail to even make it to a promotion spot.

This year, they not only broke through to Diamond, they won the championship with only 2 losses. Starting pitching dominated and my relivievers didn't give up a single run until the final game. The WS MVP was 85-rated Jeff Bagwell (.380 with 2 HR, 14 RBI in the playoffs), who I picked up after collecting my playoff qualification PP. I almost feel bad about adding such a great player right before the playoffs, but those are the rules, so I used them to my advantage.

Off to Diamond were I hope to stay for awhile, because I know this team is nowhere near Perfect-ready.

After the split we took the next three at home for the championship. Four Great Gloves, C - Ivan Rodriguez, LF - Willie Wilson, CF - Ken Griffey, RF - Mookie Betts. SS Bert Campaneris took home a Platinum Stick and Blake Treinen got the Reliever of the Year.

Well done boys!

It seems we were in the same league yet again, only with our second teams. I had my eye on your Baby Sharks Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo as the team to beat, but it wasn't meant to be. My Mayhem got tripped up before we had a chance at your team. It seems like hot starting pitching is a decent indicator of playoff success. Good luck in diamond!

Thanks! I did think we had a good shot at meeting at the finals. I was thinking you, Excelsior, or LA would take that conference, but Holly Springs knocked off all three. With a busy week and their hot finish I didn't see it coming.

Hopefully be able to close out my first championship with a 3-2 lead. I know perfect will be a challenge, but I'm looking forward to it.

Well another year in for the three Gryphon teams. Gryphon Golds didn't make the playoffs in D380. Gryphon Reds squeaked into the wildcard spot in D363 after game 162 and gave a good effort in the divisional series before losing to a better team.

But the Gryphon Blues in P405 finally won a WS Championship for me in their third year at the Perfect Level. Don't think it was the best team on paper, but a 105 win season was followed up by a great post season. Strong pitching all year long was the key, and the offense was balanced if not exactly scary top to bottom. Man this league was a battle though, and the playoffs proved it. Proud of the boys for coming out on top of another tough league.

I've never heard of the No Lives before, but just judging from their team name, it's damned impressive that you beat them.

BAM!! Furballs - in your FACE!!

Off to get murdered (again) in Diamond League this week.

Swept the Gold League Series after going the distance in the previous two rounds. Also, screw home field advantage - my team's LCS saw the two teams lose every home game, so we went from 2-0 to 2-3 to 4-3. Game 7 was a 1-0 win on a combined 1-hitter bei Luis Severino and Blake Treinen, combined with a Xander Bogaerts sac fly.

BAM!! FURBALLS!!

Congrats! Gold Saucer Wonder Squares here. Hitters didn't show up for me in the first round. Wish I could have had a shot at you in the second round, but alas You guys rocked all season and postseason long. Well earned.

Oh man, I'm in Perfect 405 with you this season. Thankfully in the other conference. I started looking at your lineup and thought it looked solid defensively, but I've seen much better offensively. Then I saw your pitching staff...damn. It'll pretty much take Perfect Pedro, Maddux, Gooden, or Clemens to make your rotation better.

Thank you! I thought you guys were the team to beat in our conference. Hopefully we'll share a league again

That was against me... you spanked me and my guys choked hard. The difference in production between our common players (JD, Ichiro, Dierker, etc) was incredible.
