Stay off that whiskey and let that cocaine be
Well I screwed up the financials in my random league, so I had to start a new one. This one is a 20 team, 2 subleague, no divisions setup. 162 game schedule. I used 1971 for the first two seasons. Trying 1974 for the 3rd season.
Just finished season 2 yesterday. Over 2 seasons of play, Dave Parker has driven in 307 runs for the Boston Flyers. Of course, having Dale Mitchell and Mr. OBP Mickey Mantle batting in front of him assures Parker is constantly batting with runners on base. Boston scored close to 900 runs last season, edging out Detroit for the AL title. They were defeated in 6 games by Chicago in the 1972 World Series. Chicago is led by George Springer who took home NL MVP honors in 1972, Alex Bregman and Brett Barberie. Barberie took home the batting title in 72. On the mound they are led by Chief Bender.
