I have completed my Expos collection...I have all cards with Expos logo on it. Now I'm looking to have a better team with players who played or was drafted by the Expos...Randy Johnson and Cliff Lee are my next target. I dont have players rated 80 and over who played for the Expos at first base and 3rd base. Someone have suggestion for this positions?

Yeah, at some point with every theme team, I think you need to make some exceptions. I blew up a Gold League team that was failing and made it all Future Stars. They are getting stomped, and I can't afford the best Future Stars cards (Ohtani, Soto, Vlad Jr, Acuna) so I'm making an exception for Live rookies (Acuna so far, Ohtani next) and maybe Rookie Sensations eventually. Future Stars pitching is pretty damn weak. I kind of hope I get relegated to Silver while I build them up. With 3 teams, it is kinda fun to have a theme team.

I have a Gold Dieker that's got a low 1 ERA and an undefeated record. He was mediocre last season, but part of a WS wining pitching staff in silver. He's almost always good for a winning record and some seasons he dominates. Won a Cy and MVP with one in Beta before everyone figured out he was overpowered. I pulled him in an early pack (might have been a starter pack), so I think I was one of the first to discover how awesome he is in Perfrect Team. Even for my teams that have grown past him, I'm still tempted to grab him as my #5.

Heheh - at this stage I can't wait for relegation to bronze.

Was competitive last season in S317 (finished 82-80, 1 game out of a wildcard) but in S263 I'm routinely getting chewed up and spat out. 19-32 with 3 games left in the month...

After a 10-19 May including a 10-game losing streak, the Raccoons' season is in the bin again…

My Clippers team had an abysmal 7-19 start in D311, but they went 15-13 in May. At the moment, we're currently 8th from the bottom which means we might have a chance to stay in the diamond league.

Speaking of relegation, I would prefer to avoid it even though we'd no doubt do better in a gold league. One reason is that if the competition is tougher, I'd expect it to be a bit easier to tell if my "upgrades" are in fact upgrades. Of course, randomness will always be a complication.

Bought $20 worth of packs.

Pulled a lot of golds including a Record Breaker Mark McGuire who will be a very nice upgrade over my recently upgraded Joey Votto lol

Mike Kopetch is pretty damn good. He's only 80 OVR but I'm going to asasume that's because his stamina is pretty poor (around 60-ish).

He was in my starting rotation all through Bronze - Diamond. Just had to pull him and put him in my BP though.

Speaking of Future Stars pitching I am always seeing the Jordan Hicks card on the market. He is flagged as a starter but still has the stamina of a reliever.

I can relate. I'm 12th from the bottom, so feel pretty certain that I won't be promoted, or relegated. I'm trying hard not to overreact to bad seasons, and stick to my plan.

The main problem with most of the Future Star pitchers is they almost all have low Stamina. My starters range from 73 to 67.

I just threw $10 into PP because Senzel, Tatis, and Mike Soroka (the best performing FS SP I've seen in my leagues) are all on the market right now. Probably going to cost my 8-9K, but I think they are my new 3B, SS, and SP. I just pulled rookie Live pitchers AJ Minter and Jose Alvarado out of my pitching staff, and other than backup catcher, I'm now 100% Future Legends.

Oh cool, Soroka is an 83 Stamina. That's decent at least.

Made some additions to my pitching staff and started to right the ship.

10 games under .500 but starting to move away from the bottom of the conference. Feeling better with my chances of not being relegated.

I cannot take Aaron Judge anymore. He's getting sold and I'm going back to Ichiro until I can save up for Mookie.

Looks like every catcher I ever had.

Yeah, obviously, no matter good of a hitter a catcher is, they can never hit in OOTP while playing catcher.

I would disagree with this. I have had good luck running a L/R platoon. Trying to have one primary catcher does not work well IMO.

After a 17-9 April, Bears are a .500 since, but still a single game out of first.
