My Subway Rats in G276 are holding their own at 16-11 in 2nd place by half a game though the Corsairs in S297 and Reavers in B274 are sucking fumes at 9-19 and 9-20 respectively.
Update: As of this Wednesday morning the Rats are now a game up in first with the Corsairs & Reavers trying to climb out of the holes they dug themselves into, all three are F2P but the Rats have had the best luck pulling cards to sell in the Auction House. I got him for around 1500 because someone ran a short auction at a weird time and I'm the lucky @#$&$&@ who saw it.
EDIT: I'm a lying liar who lies. I went back to my transaction history to check and I bought him for 3,501. Sorry all! Hopefully some people see this. Last edited by BoofBonser26; 12-19-2018 at 02:44 PM. Reason: memory wrong in my favor |

Yes, so I don't understand how undervaluing the OVR accomplishes anything other than confusing the player base and giving me another reason to whine about this addicting game.

If you can't lick 'em, join 'em. One of the teams in my division just sold his Len Barker, who was mediocre for him in a bullpen role. I bought him for 3000. I figure if he doesn't help me, I can easily get most of my money back.
Edit: And Barker's first start will be against his former team. That should be interesting. Last edited by Orcin; 12-18-2018 at 03:09 PM. |

Our 18-19 record is some very skilled landscaping to cover up the giant hole in the ground where once stood a pretty good team. -35 run differential, last in almost every conceivable offensive category, and the pitching is also in the bottom quarter in many categories. There is a pretty big bang just waiting to happen. If I hadn't been out and about for almost 15 hours today I would make wholesale changes now, but I just want to zzzzzzzzzz...

4 win in a row, 22-16, you are in the wild card with +1 GB. And 1,5 GB of the first place of your division, Thorp lost 2 games and 5-5 in is last 10.

I was almost glad to see the Texas Texans again, since they Boston'd my Holliston Homers (or I Yankee'd them?) in the Bronze NLCS. But their roster looks scarier than I remember it, and I haven't made much improvement in mine. I started out May with a 9 game losing streak, so the chances of revenge are looking pretty low anyway

Bad day! 4-11 so far
Maybe I will have to get me a Barker or Dierker card because for the second season in a row Patrick Corbin Is consistently getting lit up. His ERA this season is 4.88 (after finishing last season with a 4.5). So much for my #1 pitcher And Chipper Jones is batting .170. There is no way Chipper Jones should be batting .170. Mark Grace is batting .211 which is not typical Mark Grace I don't have the Points to make major moves. So I will be patient and see if they can turn it around. I'll have to look tonight, but considering how crazy that team was in the entry pool, I can't imagine what it looks like now. There is another around somewhere named For the Alliance, that was the same way. A rare highlight to this long season is my team apparently all getting hits against them.

So the team Brooklyn Bombers is in my division in G280, he's 40-4, I want to go back to silver so I atleast have a chance of making the wild card or winning my division.

Well, my ever-faithful Lou Brock has finally met his match against the competition in Gold league. Dropped him in favor of another old favorite from the Beta, Tommy Pham, for some extra power. We're in a real tough division, so I have the feeling I'll have to make a few more of these tweaks over the course of the week.
In completely unrelated news, my Boston-only team is growing rapidly. After missing promotion from Bronze league last season, they've been beating up on the fresh meat this time around (with a ton of help from the ubiquitous JD Martinez). I used the influx of PP to snag Clemens and Pesky off the Auction House. Still need a catcher, though; Swihart and Leon probably aren't going to cut it for very long. |
