With Jaime Garcia ailing the Jays turned to Deck McGuire for the start and it didn't go his way as the Bleu Jays lost for the 6th straight time and the Red Sox won for the 10th straight time as Boston won 9-5.

Lucas Duda hit his first homer as a Jay.

The oft-injured Aaron Sanchez left with an unknown ailment after only one inning so this became a bullpen game but it worked out as the Jays beat the Orioles 5-1.

Jacoby Ellsbury, Aledmys Diaz, and Russell Martin had three hits apiece.

The Blue Jays came into the 9th down 3-2 and facing Zach Britton. The elite closer was unable to record an out as Mikie Mahtook and Tim Lopes hit back-to-back singles before Jacoby Ellsbury doubled to tie the game and Aledmys Diaz singled to send the Jays fans home happy!

4-3 victory for Toronto.
