Help with schedule
User "fromtheline" made this schedule for me:
80 teams, 2 subleagues, 4 divisions, with no inter-divisional play, 152 games: ILN_BGN_G152_SL1_D1_T20_D2_T20_D3_T20_D4_T20_C.lsd l I can't seem to load it into the game; it keeps saying "Could not import schedule. The loaded schedule has a different structure as the current league." Help!

RMc, I'm not sure, but looking at what the schedule is supposed to do and how it's configured looks wrong to me. You said it was for 80 teams, 2 sub leagues and 4 divisions, but the schedule looks like it's built as 80 team, 1 sub league and 4 divisions. If you have 2 sub leagues that each have 4 divisions and 80 teams (160 total teams in the league), you will have to import this for each league. If you only have 80 teams total (2 sub leagues - 4 divisions - 10 teams per division) the format of the schedule itself looks wrong. Just my guess.

OK, I see that now. I must've asked for 4 divisions in one subleague, which is not how my league is set up.
Can anyone tweak this to make 2 subleagues of 2 divisions each, same conditions as above? Thanx!

Looking at this thread and the other thread, I think the schedule should work as is, just have to make a change to the name.
Instead of this name: ILN_BGN_G152_SL1_D1_T20_D2_T20_D3_T20_D4_T20_C.lsd l It needs to be this: ILN_BGN_G152_SL1_D1_T20_D2_T20_SL2_D1_T20_D2_T20_C .lsdl Need to add in SL2 and change the SL2 divisions to D1 and D2. Once you do that, the schedule should be fine. Since each division is only playing games vs each other, the rest should be fine. Teams 1-10 are in SL1D1 11-20 SL1D2 21-30 SL2D1 31-40 SL2D2 I will try to access this right now, but if I can't, I can fix this later tonight. Should take 5 minutes once I can open the file. |

Thanks, but...
...this schedule doesn't seem to work.
The setup of my league is: 2 sub-leagues, each with 2 divisions, each with 20 teams. The four divisions are meant to be separate: a top division, a second division, a third division and a fourth division, with pro/rel at the end of each season. The idea is for teams to play ONLY in their own division: 6 games each against 19 teams = 152 games. Instead, this schedule produces a situation where teams play an uneven number of games against the other 39 teams in the sub-league, which kind of defeats the purpose of separate tiers. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

If that's the case, you would need a completely new schedule. All I did was change the parameters on the file, I didn't change any of the games.
I would create a new thread and specify exactly what you want. Someone here will get to it eventually for you. |
