22 Team - 162 Game Schedule Request

Let me start by saying Thanks to all those creating schedules here!

I am looking for a 162 game schedule for a 22 team league. I know gmo already made one a while back, but I need my sub-leagues to be reversed. What I mean is that gmo's schedule is setup for S1 to have two 6 team divisions and S2 to have two 5 team divisions. My setup is for S1 to have the 5 team divisions and S2 to have the 6 team divisions. I have already tried and my setup is not compatible with gmo's schedule file.

Can someone please reverse the order for me? I know I could just move teams around but my league has run a long time with S1 having fewer teams through multiple expansions.

I would also like the schedule to be balanced with interleague play.

Thanks in advance!

You can make the changes yourself using search-and-replace in gmo's schedule file. Have you tried that?

Thanks for the info Joe. How do I go about doing that? Is it possible in-game or do I need a program to open the schedule file?

  1. Open the schedule in Notepad.
  2. Open the "search" menu (I think it's under Edit - I don't have the program open in front of me) and choose "search and replace"
  3. Enter away="1" as the search term and away="A1" as your replace term. Hit "enter"
  4. Enter home="1" as the search term and home="A1" as your replace term. Hit enter
  5. Repeat for every team (so, e.g., 2 becomes A2, 3 becomes A3, and so on)
  6. Now you need to reverse the process. You want gmo's subleague 1 to become your subleague 2 and vice versa. So here's the way you need to change the teams:
  • 1 --> A1 --> 11, 2 --> A2 --> 12, and so on to 12 --> A12 --> 22
  • 13 --> A13 --> 1, 14 --> A14 --> 2, and so on to 22 --> A22 --> 10
At the end of this process, subleague 1 will have teams 1-10, and subleague 2 will have teams 11-22.

Thanks Joe! I'll try that and let you know if it works. If so, I'll post the file here so you can add it to the list.
