Request: 164 game, 40 team schedule

I would like to make a schedule with the following format:

2 Sub Leagues, each with 5 Divisions, each with 4 teams

164 total games
48 divisional games (16 per team)
64 league games (4 per team)
52 inter league games (4 games with 13 teams each)

All series are 4 games long, with an off day in between (to allow for 4 man rotations on 5 days rest).

All-Star Break occurs in between the end of the regular season and playoffs.

Thanks in advance to whoever can help!

I can take a shot at this.

I have two other schedules I'm currently working on but I will start yours when I complete them.

WIthout doing a lot of research, having all 4 games series and having all teams play 13 interleague series should pose a problem.

You would have 6H series and 7A series. This leads to an uneven amount of home and road games.

My suggestion is you either have the interleague series be 2H/2A in the same week; this will give all teams 26H/26A

or

make the schedule 160 games or 164 games

You would play either 12 teams or 14 teams in interleague.

Let me know what you think.

Oops, I didn't check the math for that. 2H/2A for interleauge would be fine. The most important part is the divisional games.

Also thanks for the help!

Sounds good. I'll keep the IL series 2H/2A. I'll see if it works better to do this:

12
12
21
21

I will start this today and should take me a few days to a week to get it done.
