Notes on the Beta

Not sure how much feedback you are getting specifically, but a few things that I've noticed playing the beta:

-Random crashes
-When looking at international teams in the dropdown list from the main menu bar, there is no scrolling, so the list cuts off at South Africa
-The lists in free agency and the draft completely reset when you go into a player's profile and then hit the back button
-There is no example of the indicator of "variable potential" as stated in the manual
-Speaking of international teams, when in charge of a particular team, there is no option to select the available players for a tournament. The only way it currently works is if you have the AI set up the organization.
-Trade logic is really off, I was offered Kailer Yamamoto for John Moore straight up, which is objectively a bad trade
-There is no key for the various team strategies or styles, so unless you know specifically what you are looking for, there is no way to discern what impact a given strategy has. There also does not appear to be any indication of the fit a given team strategy has for any roster.

The manual has a brief description for each strategy and what each works best against. As far as how well it fits your team, that will be up to you to research and decide according. I use the preseason to make adjustments and find the strategies that worked best.

Could you be a bit more specific? During simulating or when navigating around? Reproducible or not? What game mode? Did you customize the game or not? Did you upload any saves so we can take a look?

They really perfected Chiarelli's trade logic, good job devs!

I would be happy to provide two separate save files which have had the issues noted above, I just am unable to attach them to a post here. Is there a specific way in which you want them/what parts of the save files do you need?

I have now uploaded both save files to the server. They are each tagged with my username, "fashett_7" so as to better identify each one. The other potential issue I have noted, particularly in the 2nd attempt file, is that when playing a game, if a goal is scored, you have to reset the UI that shows the rink during play by play. When the new goal popup is initiated (excellent addition, by the way), the map behind it disappears, and you have to go into options and swap the watch mode out of full, then back into it again to regain the map.


PS: I would love to be able to eventually play as an NCAA team in this game, though I know that is likely incessantly complex from a code standpoint. Just a suggestion!
