Getting player to decline their option

I have a player who is worthless to me and has a 13.5M Player option I'd like to have declined and off the books. Any tricks to ensure this? I have kept him upset as much as possible and have even been offering minor league deals to keep him pissed.

Any help much appreciated!

Bueller? Bueller? Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I'm wondering if you waive the guy, demote him, bench him, make horrible contract extension offers, etc. it get him really angry, will the guy decline?

You wouldn't get away with that IRL. Why not edit it?

Because you're in an online league or just for kicks.
