Cheat Roster Question
Is there a way to edit a player off the 40 man roster, and keep him in the organization?

My minors now has 60 players, all *** or better. I want to keep them all but also want to get back to 40 players.

I believe you can add a affiliate team to allow more stockpiling (I never tried that, but I think you can do that, I am sure I will be corrected if wrong.) Due to my trade habits I never have this problem.

you can turn comissioner mode on and do as needed.
make a backup before doing so. if like in the past, there's a path that ends with the guy stuck on your 40-man even if you make them a FA or move to another team etc. i can't recall the exact cause of that end result, though. if you accidentally run into that problem, you'll want to restore backup and try another route. |

It works if I release the player then assign him a minor league contract. (with editor).
