Bracket tournament questions

Looking to set up a tournament featuring the top St. Louis Cardinals' teams of all time. I will be managing the home team in each game.
But I have a few questions.
* Is there an actual bracket setting within the game or is that up to you to set the matchups?

* Can you change the starting lineups, pitching rotations for both teams prior to the start of the game?
I did a practice game with the 1968 Cardinals and Curt Flood was batting leadoff and Lou Brock was batting third.
I also saw some issues with the lineup for the 2013 Cardinals.
* I only played one game, but will Gibson start games 1, 4 and 7, if the 1968 team needs him too or will the game go with a four-man rotation no matter what.
* As for injuries, how do you handle injuries which should carry over from one round to the next, since each series stands as an independent entity, Would not a player who suffers a multiple-game injury be available for the next series even if the injury isn't technically over?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

1. There is no bracket setting, just historical exhibition series. You can keep track of your bracket outside of OOTP and do it any way you choose. Single elimination, double triple etc. etc.

2. Yes you can set lineups before every game.

3. I found it does 3 man rotations for a series. If you do 2-2-1-1-1 it seems to go to a 2 man rotation at the end of a series if the pitcher is rested enough.

4. You can allow for injuries in an exhibition series. It will notify you of an injury and edit future lineups.
