historical exhibition: roster composition poll
At present, when you create a historical exhibition between two teams, the rosters will include everyone who played for the team during the season. This means that players who were traded away during the season will still be on the roster, together with the players who were acquired in the trade. The logic behind this setup is that the user can then decide which players should be on the active roster and which should be on the reserve (or inactive) roster. So, for example, if you prefer the season-end roster, you can manually move all players not on the team at the end of the season onto the reserve roster. Good idea or not?

I would prefer season-end rosters for World Series matchups and all players for other matchups.

Absolutely, positively end of season playoff rosters! I mean it's the playoffs right?
Just wish it would be incorporated in the next update?
