Chris Taylor and Jeff McNeil play a bunch of positions, but not necessarily all that well.

If they can play SS at a blue level, you can almost bet they'll be a utility infield goldmine. Also Toby Harrah is a good utility infielder, he learns up to 77 at 2B and over 60 at both 3B and SS.
Jim Fregosi actually rates higher at 2B with training than he does at SS, which is impressive. I haven't tried training him at the corners since I don't need to on my team (I have Buddy Bell as my corner INF). |

Budget? What level players are you looking for? Several Negro league players can play all OF and one not very good IF. Bullet Joe Rogan might be next up behind Dihigo Pitches, OF, 2B. Charleston, Torriente, Ray Brown.
Others that are good at three positions or more: Live Cody Bellinger 1B, all OF Peak Jackie Robinson all IF, LF SE Bobby Thomson 3B, LF, CF SE Tony Phillips 2B, LF, RF Live Mookie Betts 2B, CF, RF Live Marwin Gonzalez all IF, all OF Live Nico Goodrum all IF, LF, RF Live Ian Happ 1B, 3B, all OF Live Kristopher Negron all IF, all OF That should get you started, at least one for each level too.

80 Tommy Davis can play left field pretty well, centerfield not very well and 3rd base pretty badly. He can hit though.
Bronze-wise, Bip Roberts is a great utility guy. Switch hitting contact/speed man who can play all 3 outfield spots, as well as 2nd and 3rd base. |

Weirdest utility player is diamond Biggio, who can play catcher, second base and CF. Don't see that often. In theory I guess that means he could be trained to play literally every position?

Martin D of course. I do like my E. Banks for fielding, and a surprise Mondesi from my Bears team.
I want to try Banks in the outfield just can't at the moment for winning reasons. Neither can hit (hitting isn't my problem in the leagues though, so I can take a loss for fielding). -- I want to add... there was a 'Campy Campaneris Day'... he played all nine positions. Back in the 60s. Last edited by HelpDodgers; 11-20-2019 at 05:30 PM. |

Live 86 Ketel Marte can play CF, SS and 2B. Granted, he doesn't play any of those all that well. But if you need a flexible roster spot in a tourney for a pseudo-utility guy who can also pinch hit, he's not a bad option.

Andrelton Simmons can train at every position except catcher to 100+ & his bat is surprising acceptable considering his defense.
Josh Harrison 2014 (90) card trains very well everywhere too. I haven't tried catcher though & a .300+ hitter every year |
