The 2nd game of the double header was much closer but in the end, the result was the same. The Cardinals beat the Superbas 3-2. WP - Red Ames (12-16) LP - Christy Mathewson (21-5) Record - 67-41 The Boston Doves trail by only two games as they have won nine in a row while Brooklyn has lost their last three. They are now ready for a three game set between the two.
