Who will you use in OOTP 20-
As an Orioles fan I try not to use my favorite team but they’re so bad the rebuild project might be worth using them even though I always say I’m going to try someone else and then go back to them but this task might be worth it.

I typically go with my Cardinals but have used other teams like Tampa Bay, Kansas City and San Diego in previous versions. With 19 I'm in my 10th season as the Cardinals GM.
I think for 20 I'm going with the Miami Marlins as they should be quite a challenge. |

Padres first, and maybe a game as the Cubs as well.

I pretty much always go with the Tigers, and the current state of the rebuild just makes it more fun.

Usually start with rebuild or expansion, doing a day to day sim. I want a team ready to rebuild who hasn't started to tear it down yet. There aren't a lot of candidates this year, so I'm sort of glad the Giants whiffed on Harper. Probably going with expansion Carolina Horsemen, though, after one year of simming.
I'm a recent convert to playing put games in fictional leagues, as of '19, so once we're past the patch phase, that's how I'll spend most of the year. |

Never played with any team other than my O's.

I always take over the Expos franchise after being the commissioner from 1871 through 1968 to get a real history.

I usually play with my braves but I like the idea of playing with the reds this time around a lot of players on expiring contracts they got rid of homer baileys headache contract and will be ready for a rebuild with an upcoming top 10 draft choice in the first draft of a few months into the first season. I learned a lot of lessons from ‘19 so hopefully can build a dynasty.

Planning on going with the Marlins to start but with live services I might go with a team depending on how the real life season goes. Interested in the Twins and Mariners too maybe as a test game for when the beta drops

I go with my Diamondback again with XX. I figure I can't mess them up any worse than the current real front office has

Cardinals just so I can fire the GM and cut Cecil and Fowler who are both bums who shouldn't even be on a 40 man roster let alone the 25 man on opening day.

Cubs as always playing every game and I want to run the Padres as well. May even play as the Braves or Pirates.

Milwaukee. But maybe I start a historical game or sim a decade down the road to get history and join a team with a gm or something.

I did O's, Marlins, and Expos expansion last year.
Definitely will do O's again, not sure on the others. I think Braves could be fun. Or Rangers. |

I'll be my Twins as always but I think it will be fun with so many questions marks. Will sano and Buxton pan out?
Trade Eddie Rosario or sign long term? How does Royce Lewis pan out? Big pitching question marks, etc. Last edited by TwinsGuy11; 03-17-2019 at 10:34 PM. |

I always start in 1871, start with the Cubs, and run them until I get fired. Then I take over whichever team has the worst record that year, and run them till I get fired. Continue the same process until the present day. Right now I'm with the 1948 Giants. I have 23 World Series titles and a lot of last place finishes. It's been a lot of fun.
