McInnis was the Red Sox starting first-baseman in 1921 but was not shown in the Red Sox file. This image is from either 1919 or 1920 during his time with Boston.

In 1921 his final Major League season Vitt was the Red Sox back-up Third Baseman but is not depicted in the Red Sox file. This image shows him with the Red Sox in 1921

Walters was the back-up catcher for the 1921 Red Sox. There is no image of him in the Red Sox file. This image shows him with the Red Sox in 1919.

In his rookie season Pittinger was a back-up outfielder for the Red Sox. This image of him from 1921 fills the gap from his absence in the existing file.

Vick's only season with the Red Sox turned out to be his final Major League season. Despite donning the 'tools of ignorance' all of his appearances in the Majors was in the outfield. This unusual image of him is with the 1921 Red Sox and fills a gap in the 1921 Red Sox file.

This obscure outfielder appeared in just 4 Major League games all with the 1921 Red Sox. Absent in the 1921 Red Sox file this image fills the void.

A catcher who appeared in a Red Sox uniform for 3 consecutive years commencing in 1920. This image of him as a Red Sox eliminates his absence from the existing file.

After appearing 19 times for the 1920 Red Sox Hiller played just once for the 1921 team and that appearance represented the end of his Major League career. This image, not with the Red Sox, eliminates his absence from the Red Sox file.

In 1921 Sothoron played for 3 Major League teams including Cleveland with whom his existing image, left, depicts. This 1920 image with the Browns will be a better placeholder in the Browns file for another of his 1921 teams in St.Louis. Also shown is the representation from the Hall Of Fame uniform database of the Browns 1921 home and road uniforms.

The predominantly dark cap, left, pinpoints the date of the existing Browns image to 1925. The attached image is dated 1921 but the cap stripes appear to conflict in appearance from those shown above in representation of the Browns uniform.

The attached image, left, is an undated image of Tobin with Browns. The image to the right is dated 1921 and is highly significant in that like the Jacobson image posted earlier features a stiped cap. This constitutes further evidence that the home uniform used in 1921, at least partly, by the Browns could have a striped cap.

The image, left, of Austin shows a cap that matches the Browns cap from the period 1911-15. The alternate color image dates from 1922.
