Back to Back to Back Champions!!

I really thought it would be great to have a winning record and make the playoffs. But now the Doubledays have won back to back championships the 1st two seasons of PT. I have to post and enjoy it now as the competition will get tougher.

Anyone else in the back to back champion list the 1st two seasons?

Congratulations! Going to Perfect Team Universe and sorting all the managers by Championships and ... it looks like you are one of seventeen teams to win back-to-back titles. Will anyone be able to win three in a row?

Maybe it's not counting the other because it was in a different league?

looks like there are more now...

my World Series went 7 games, came back from a 3-1 deficit to get my 2nd championship... it was nerve wracking.

Shout out to DrZaius and his Froggington Stoic Frogs. Gave me a run for my money man.

They should all be in the same league.

I had not looked at that screen before. Now I am scared. I am being promoted to a league that will have 30 plus teams that have averaged 120 wins each of the first two seasons.

My little team is in trouble. I will be in a league with about 178 teams with better two season records than I have. I guess I will be an underdog.

If my math is correct ...

There are 77 Silver Leagues. 16 teams in each league will be advancing, giving us 1232 teams in the Gold Leagues. 1232 is enough to fill 41 Gold Leagues. I count a grand total of 34 teams that have won 240+ games, i.e. 120 games per season. Assuming that the algorithm spreads out the teams (and I have zero knowledge of how the algorithm works, purely making an educated guess here), there is an 83% chance that one team in your league will have averaged 120 wins per season.

My money would be on one of the Kawhi Leonard teams. One of them was totally dominate in the Beta and I would think just as good now if not more.

I had a winner in two different leagues and got the pop-up on one team but not the other. Thought it was odd that would happen.

Strange, when I went back into the team that I did not see the pop-up, it was there. I guess the first time I looked the season ending had not progressed to the point where it appears.

Not in the team history (to save space), but the manager history, hence the display error in the news article. Simply ignore it

Kahwi Keonard in same league. With all the teams and leagues it was nice to be one of the 17, however there is a Montreal Royal team in my current Gold team that is stacked.

Barely made the wildcard playoffs on the final 2 days of the Gold season. I am currently up 3-0 in the World Series. Might be one of 10 to win the 1st back to back to back to back World Series?

It's official. The Doubledays 3-peated! Made playoffs on the 2nd to last day of the season as a wild card.

Don't remind me. I was up 2-0 in our conference semi with them and dropped 3 in a row to let their one team advance. That can't happen without the manager getting fired. Oops. I say too much.

Of the 17 that won back to back, we are down to 6 3-peats. Funny thing about being on this list is the Doubledays have by far the worst W-L regular season record.

Whelp. Two of those three-peaters have joined me in Diamond .317: Portland and Ozark.
