More Information:
We are a very fast paced league, not your usual OOTP league but helps keep the interest of the teams who are rebuilding since they don't have to We just added a Winter League so that you can get your prospects more playing time and not to be bored all offseason
We always upgrade to the next version however it will not be until All Star break in real life when the game is 50% off and most glitches and bugs have already been fixed
wait practically a real year in order to start competing again. We are a league that was first started by many of us who used to play Baseball Mogul Online where sims happened much quicker. We try to even sim playoffs sometimes in as quickly as one day. If all the playoff teams have exported we sometimes can run more than one division series per day, as long as the teams have exported to keep the interest of the non playoff teams alive.

Just a full disclaimer, we are still currently on OOTP 18 however we will be switching to 19 at the All Star break in July when the game is 50% off and when more of the bugs have probably been fixed.

We are currently in mid December of 2034 and these teams have opened up

Houston Astros
Pittsburgh Pirates

The Houston Astros are a team that were once one of the best run franchises in this league until their GM moved to SD. They even once had a streak of 10 straight playoff appearances from 2017-2026. The team had 85 wins last season. They have the leagues winningest pitcher that at the age of 35 has 219 wins. Most of their talent is getting up there in age so you may choose to rebuild but with the fact that they have 96 million to spend on FA and 142 million to spend on Extensions you may choose to take a different route. They are ranked 11th in Budget with a 230 million dollar payroll and have a fan interest of 83. According to OSA they have the 15th best farm.

The Pitsburgh Pirates have the potential of really netting some VERY nice prospects from quite a few good young players that are currently on the Pirates team... Unfortunately if you look at the NL Central it's one of the toughest divisions in our league and these players may get wasted since some of these teams are in such good shape. They do have some very talented players though. The team has had 76 wins or less for 5 seasons in a row. They have a 122 million dollar budget and no money for FA and 5 million for extensions at the moment. They have the 20th ranked farm according to OSA.

We are VERY close to hitting the trade deadline of 2034 and these teams have opened up

Los Angeles Angels

The Los Angeles Angels are currently 42-52 for this season. They currently are on pace to have their 8th season in a row of being below .500. They do have some nice players on their team though. The team has a 172 million budget and their current payroll is at 94 million. If you can bring in winning the budget will probably go higher since the owners fiscal personality is Charitable. They have 15 million to spend on FA and 35 million to spend in extensions. The Angels have the 16th ranked farm system according to OSA.

We are about to hit February of 2036 and these teams have opened up

Kansas City Royals (have the 1st upcoming pick in upcoming draft)
The Kansas City Royals as I've just stated currently have the 1st pick in the next upcoming draft after having had a 53 win season. They actually have had quite a few years of mediocrity. They have gone five straight seasons under 64 wins and have not been .500 or better since 2027. The last time they made the playoffs was in 2017. According to OSA they have the 10th best farm system including the 1st overall rated prospect according to OSA's top 100 a pitcher named Greg Anderson. The team currently has a budget of 120 million but since their payroll is only 52 million they have 77 million to spend on extensions and close to 55 million on FA's. I will warn you the team's fan interest is at 39.

According to OSA they have the 18th ranked farm system.

The Angels have already been taken, but the Marlins are still open. For more info on that team look at my previous post. They have one of the best young players in the game at a prime position at SS, although he is hurt at the moment.

With a 158 million dollar budget and only 50 million dollar payroll they currently have tons of money to work with. They have 69 million for FA's and 48 million for extensions.

We are in February of 2037 season and these teams have opened up
Miami Marlins

The Miami Marlins have been above .500 for 6 seasons in a row, however they have not quite been amazing either. They have had 89,88,84,85,85,81 wins. Only making the playoffs three of those years. The team is probably more likely not to be a .500 team though since the previous GM was trying to rebuild them and traded away one of their young and very good players to add two more 1st round picks. So despite them not currently having anyone listed as a top 100 prospect according to OSA they may eventually get some since they should have 4 1st round picks this season. They also have quite a bit of money to work with. They have a 177 million budget with only 77 million in player payroll so they currently have 81 million to spend on FA's and 55 million for extensions.

The Milwaukee Brewers have had 8 straight losing seasons, including currently having the worse record in MLB with a 28-57 record. According to OSA they have the 19th ranked farm in the league. They have a budget of 124 million but their payroll is only 39 million so once you add scouting expenses etc they currently have 40 million to spend on FA's and close to 54 million to spend on extensions.

We are about to start the 2038 season and these teams have opened up

Arizona Dbacks

In this league's history the Diamondbacks have been only run by one GM but he has disappeared all of a sudden so the team has opened up. The team went 72-90 this last season and has had 5 seasons in a row of being .500 or worse. According to OSA they have the 6th best farm including the 5th best prospect in baseball which is a SP. They have a 150 million dollar budget with a payroll of 116 million so at the moment with their current expenses in scouting and development they have no money for FA and 19.5 million for extensions

A very good team in the Tigers have opened up

We are in May of the 2038 season and these teams have opened up
Detroit Tigers
This Tigers team is a team that was very well run, they have been above .500 five years in a row including having won 110 games last year. They have yet to ever make it to the World Series though. This season they have been a bit more mediocre though with a current record of 19-17 but they are still tied for first place. According to OSA they have the 29th ranked farm. At the moment pretty much every team in that division except for the Tigers are currently rebuilding. They have the league's defending MVP a 27 year old 2B who had a 9.4 WAR last season with 39 HRs 142 RBI, .345 batting average and a 1.021 OPS. They also have some very nice SP'ers and relievers. The team has a 252 million dollar budget with a payroll of 182 million. Based on expenses on scouting and development they currently have 25 million to spend on FAs and 31 million on extensions. They have an astronomical market size with Fan Interest at 100.

Unfortunately if you look at the NL Central it's one of the toughest divisions in our league and these players may get wasted since some of these teams are in such good shape. They do have some very talented players though. The team has had 76 wins or less for 5 seasons in a row. They currently are on pace to have their 8th season in a row of being below .500. They do have some nice players on their team though. The team has a 172 million budget and their current payroll is at 94 million. If you can bring in winning the budget will probably go higher since the owners fiscal personality is Charitable. They have 15 million to spend on FA and 35 million to spend in extensions. The Angels have the 16th ranked farm system according to OSA. We are about to hit February of 2036 and these teams have opened up Kansas City Royals (have the 1st upcoming pick in upcoming draft) The Kansas City Royals as I've just stated currently have the 1st pick in the next upcoming draft after having had a 53 win season. They actually have had quite a few years of mediocrity. They have gone five straight seasons under 64 wins and have not been .500 or better since 2027. The last time they made the playoffs was in 2017. According to OSA they have the 10th best farm system including the 1st overall rated prospect according to OSA's top 100 a pitcher named Greg Anderson. The team currently has a budget of 120 million but since their payroll is only 52 million they have 77 million to spend on extensions and close to 55 million on FA's. This was their 9th season in a row of being below .500. Before this season they also had gone under 63 wins 5 years in a row so they are in desperate need of a bit of help. The Houston Astros finished with a league worse 53-109 record so they will have the #1 pick in the next upcoming draft. This team was once a powerhouse but they have fallen on hard times. The last two seasons they have won 53 games each season. Up until 2031 they had made the playoffs 14 of their last 17 seasons in a row. According to OSA they have the 5th best farm. We are in February of 2037 season and these teams have opened up Miami Marlins The Miami Marlins have been above .500 for 6 seasons in a row, however they have not quite been amazing either. They have had 89,88,84,85,85,81 wins. Only making the playoffs three of those years. The team is probably more likely not to be a .500 team though since the previous GM was trying to rebuild them and traded away one of their young and very good players to add two more 1st round picks. So despite them not currently having anyone listed as a top 100 prospect according to OSA they may eventually get some since they should have 4 1st round picks this season. They also have quite a bit of money to work with. We are in mid July of the 2037 season and these teams have opened up Milwaukee Brewers The Milwaukee Brewers have had 8 straight losing seasons, including currently having the worse record in MLB with a 28-57 record. According to OSA they have the 19th ranked farm in the league. They have a budget of 124 million but their payroll is only 39 million so once you add scouting expenses etc they currently have 40 million to spend on FA's and close to 54 million to spend on extensions. * We have officially moved on to Statsplus * We try to get as far as we can on Statsplus in the drafts. * We also use Slack * We have coaches and scouts on. * 1-20 ratings system * stars on * DH on in both leagues * 26 man roster * Draft pick trading is on for the current draft year. We are about to start the 2038 season and these teams have opened up Arizona Dbacks In this league's history the Diamondbacks have been only run by one GM but he has disappeared all of a sudden so the team has opened up. The team went 72-90 this last season and has had 5 seasons in a row of being .500 or worse. According to OSA they have the 6th best farm including the 5th best prospect in baseball which is a SP. Cubfan2001 Major Leagues Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 415 Blog Entries: 1	A very good team in the Tigers have opened up We are in May of the 2038 season and these teams have opened up Detroit Tigers This Tigers team is a team that was very well run, they have been above .500 five years in a row including having won 110 games last year. They have yet to ever make it to the World Series though. This season they have been a bit more mediocre though with a current record of 19-17 but they are still tied for first place. According to OSA they have the 29th ranked farm. At the moment pretty much every team in that division except for the Tigers are currently rebuilding. They have the league's defending MVP a 27 year old 2B who had a 9.4 WAR last season with 39 HRs 142 RBI, .345 batting average and a 1.021 OPS. They also have some very nice SP'ers and relievers. The team has a 252 million dollar budget with a payroll of 182 million. Based on expenses on scouting and development they currently have 25 million to spend on FAs and 31 million on extensions.
