Professional Baseball Replay League - 1958 Hall of Fame Ballot - Everyone Welcome!
Professional Baseball Replay League
1958 Hall of Fame Ballot League Home - Hall of Fame - League History Two rules are now being enforced by the PBRL Hall of Fame: (1) There is now a five year waiting period before any retired player can be placed on the ballot and (2) a player is only eligible for the 20 years following their retirement. Therefore, no new players will be added to the ballot for the next few years as the most recent retirees spend their time on the waiting list, and two players on the current ballot are only eligible for one more season. 10 vote maximum, anyone can vote. I can't understand why Brown is getting more votes than Bartlett....doesn't make any sense to me.
Wins: Brown - 265, Bartlett - 233 POTY: Brown - 0, Bartlett - 3 ERA+: Brown - 125, Bartlett 126 20 win seasons: Brown - 4, Bartlett - 7 Win %: Brown - .581, Bartlett - .620 Full Seasons Below .500: Brown - 4, Bartlett -1 Shutouts: Brown - 29, Bartlett - 34 Bartlett had a much shorter career as well. To me Brown was borderline and Bartlett should be a shoo-in in comparison Last edited by metsgeek; 04-30-2009 at 09:07 AM. |
