Recommend a welcoming sticky here . . .
. . . like last year, from somebody in the OOTP oligarchy.

Ah, at last! A place for 1998 Yankees, the wise and powerful.
Since there isn't much going on here at the moment, how come you've gone to changing your avatar so frequently? I think I've seen five (one twice) in the past ten days. |

Back on topic: I repeat my recommendation that someone in authority post (or copy over from last year's board) the welcoming sticky that will draw newbies here with their questions rather than getting lost in the General Discussions hubbub. |

I had the game a day before official release!! Pre-ordered and very satisfied!
Its just finding the time and the excuses for excessive amount of time spent at the computer!! Last edited by ukslamjam; 04-11-2007 at 12:19 PM. |

LOL! I've been seeing that mug for so long, I did not even notice the jersey. But, that's OK, ukslamjam, for it's quite historically accurate! And it suits the fantasies of some of the OOTP historical "what if?" players who wonder how the Red Sox of the 20th century would have fared had they not sold Ruth to the Yankees in 1920. Perhaps that is your intended scenario?

I've had to change my avatar to your creation as it made me laugh so much!! I'm still annoyed with the Yankees for stealing away Abreu from my beloved Phillies!!! But I have to say I prefer the Yankees over the Redsucks anyday!! |
