Accidentally emailed pre-order links?

So uhh...I just received an email with the pre-order links to download OOTP 18. Problem is, I didn't actually pre-order the game. So I'm a little confused. I mean if someone wants to you know...hook me up and let me play it, I will gladly do so. But I just figured I'd bring it to the attention of the fine folks in charge as I may not have been the only one who received an email with pre-order links that didn't actually pre-order.

From what I understand, pre-order links don't mean much anyways without a licence key.

Well, if that is the case - then we shouldn't have received an e-mail! I would think only those that advance ordered the game would receive an e-mail. I thought I was going crazy - but knew I hadn't ordered the game yet.

Glad I wasn't the only one that was confused. I was at the checkout screen at one point but decided to wait for the Steam release. When I got the email I just figured I had made a mistake and actually paid for the non-steam version.

Yes, we're sorry. The email went out to pre-order customers of OOTP 18 and OOTP 17. That was a mistake obviously :P

Andreas and I just sent out an email clarifying things to everyone who got the links by mistake!

Just to reiterate and clarify again, if you didn't actually place an order for OOTP18, we aren't charging you for the game so there's no need to check your statements or worry about that!

I did the same! Could have sworn I pre-ordered, went through all my receipts, requested a list from esellerate and realized I hadn't actually pre-ordered. I immediately went and solved that problem.
